Comprised of over 300 acres in the heart of Port Orange, Countryside is one of the largest communities in the area, offering a variety of different styles of homes to meet a wide range of lifestyles. The north section of Countryside, known as Waterbridge, sits just north of Dunlawton Avenue with the remainder of the neighborhood located to the south between Dunlawton Avenue and Taylor Road. Sidewalks wind through most of the neighborhood, providing residents a parklike setting to exercise, take a stroll or walk the dog. Located in the area’s top rated school district, and with styles, sizes, and prices for just about everyone’s home taste and budget, it’s no wonder why Countryside is one of Port Orange’s most desirable neighborhoods. Everything from modern architecture to traditional brick homes are represented within the subdivision. There are one, two, and three bedroom townhouses available with prices ranging from the mid to high 100’s, as well as two, three, and four bedroom single family homes ranging from the high $100’s to low $400’s in the gated section of the Hunt Club.

Most of Countryside is a Planned Unit Development consisting of eight mini associations and one unincorporated section that is not included in the PUD. The eight mini associations included in the PUD are The Meadows, Villas, Townhomes, Hunt Club, Silver Lakes, Lakepointe, Steeple Chase, and Waterbridge.  Each mini association has its own set of HOA covenants, restrictions, and fees that vary by community, with each mini association in Countryside having the option to join the master association. For residents who choose to join the master association, they’ll enjoy access to the amenities at the Countryside Club, which includes a gorgeous lakeside swimming pool, kiddie pool, tennis courts, shuffle board, library, and banquet hall, with full kitchen that can be rented by residents for private events.  For those who are not interested in living in an HOA community, Countryside has a section for those homebuyers as well! At the southeastern end of Countryside near the Taylor Road entrance, there is an unincorporated section of the neighborhood with no HOA, not to be confused with Countryside West, which is an entirely different neighborhood in itself.

To further complicate the structure of the Countryside neighborhood, all homes for sale in each of the mini subdivisions are simply listed as the “Countryside subdivision” in our MLS, making it difficult for buyers who aren’t familiar with the area- and even those are- to find what they’re looking for when searching online.
